A DITO SIM Registration program has been launched in support of Government Republic Act No. 11934 or the SIM Registration Act (SRA) against crimes and fraudulent activities. If you are an existing or new SIM card user, you must register following these guidelines before the government can deactivate your SIM card.

The new user of the DITO SIM will receive an SMS with a link to a registration form after inserting the SIM card into the phone, while existing users will need to do so using any of the DITO SIM Registration options below to protect themselves from fraud, scams, theft, spam texts, fake news, smishing, and other types of fraud.

DITO SIM Registration has three steps for existing prepaid or postpaid users. SIM registration for Globe and smart sim registration for Smart are both straightforward processes. SIM card registration can be processed in the following ways:

  • Install the “DITO App” from the “Play Store” and “App Store“.
  • When you have successfully downloaded and installed the Dito App, open it.
  • Enter your username and password to access the application.
  • Click on the “SIM Registration” icon or “Register your SIM” banner on the Dashboard.

  • Choose the type of registrant.
  • There are five types of registrants: Filipinos, Filipino Dependents/Minors, Foreign National Tourists, Foreign Nationals with VISAs, and Business Entities/Organizations.

  • To receive a one-time PIN, you can enter your 11-digit “DITO Mobile Number” or scan your SIM ICCID.
  • To proceed, click the “verify” button.

  • To verify your phone number, enter your one-time PIN “OTP”.
  • Click on the “submit” button.

  • The next step is to verify your identity with your government-issued ID card.

  • You must upload your selfie once the ID Card photo has been uploaded.

Important Note: Make sure there are no shadows on the face or anything blocking your face view. Avoid wearing hats, dark lenses, or anything that hides your face. The photo should be a front view from the shoulders up, with the eyes open and looking at the camera. Photos with blurry backgrounds, no filters, or enhanced images should be avoided.
