DITO Home WOWFi Router
The DITO Home WOWFi starter kit is priced at Php1,990 and comes with a Brovi 5G CPE 5 SE router and a DITO 5G SIM. Manufactured by Shenzhen-based Zowee Technology, this device supports both 5G and 4G connectivity. The maximum speeds are:
- 5G: Up to 226Mbps (downlink), 120Mbps (uplink)
- 4G: Up to 400Mbps (downlink), 200Mbps (uplink)
The router employs 5G Reduced Capability (5G RedCap), a technology designed to bridge the performance gap between 4G and full-capacity 5G. This standard, also known as 5G NR-Light, supports applications that do not require the full capabilities of advanced 5G.

- Insert the DITO Home SIM into a phone.

- Log in to the DITO App with your SIM number and update your profile.

Performance and Speed Test Insights
DITO advertises download speeds of up to 100Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps for WOWFi. Our tests in Parañaque revealed an average download speed of 50-60Mbps, while uploads averaged around 5Mbps. Speeds can vary based on location and signal strength.
We also tested the router during a drive around Metro Manila (covering areas like EDSA, SLEX, BGC, Makati, and Pasay). The highest download speed reached was 108Mbps, surpassing DITO’s promise. However, upload speeds remained low, between 5 and 11Mbps, making the service less ideal for those needing fast uploads, such as video editors. For casual users, however, the 100Mbps download speed is more than adequate.
Subscription Plans and Pricing
The DITO Home WOWFi starter kit costs Php1,990, including 30 days of unlimited 5G internet and an extra 50GB of 4G data. A promo price of Php1,290 is available via the DITO App with a Php700 voucher.
Monthly plans include:
- Unli 5G Plan: Php790 for 30 days of unlimited 5G.
- Budget Plan: Php490 for 80GB of data with rollover benefits.
A Php190 monthly rebate is offered for reloading Php790 from the 2nd to the 11th month, effectively reducing the cost to Php600 per month.
